Ben Christenson is the Washington DC-based author of Living as Creatures—a Substack I have been faithfully reading for the better part of a year now.
I reached out to him last Saturday afternoon about appearing on the podcast and we ended up recording our episode on Wednesday morning! Ben has become one of my favourite writers this year, and it was a pleasure to chat with him about his journey from Anglicanism to Eastern Orthodoxy, his approach to cultural artifacts like books and movies, his philosophy of marriage, his writing career, and of course, the four types of young Christians he knows.
