This was very encouraging to read. Im in a tough season, but knowing Jesus wants us to abide in him helps me to draw near to him. In doing so my problems shrivel up and his love can enter in. I chose the better thing starting today!
I’m so glad it blessed you brother! One of the pastors at my church mentioned yesterday how the Lord’s Prayer intentionally doesn’t start with the daily bread part, but instead with worshipping and hallowing God’s name.
What happens as a result is that we can then approach our needs/wants with an appropriate perspective. Our problems shrivel up, like you said, in light of God’s power and love.
